Coming this Friday:
English-wide Bible Study small group is having a Lunar New Year potluck on Friday, January 24, starting at 6:30 pm in Renton. If you are interested in joining the English-wide small group for this event, please contact Penny for address and additional info.
Coming this Saturday:
Health & Peace Seniors Fellowship is inviting the church to celebrate Chinese New Year with them in Renton on Saturday, January 25 at 11 am. The event will be held in Chinese, but if you want to try and purchase some regional custom-made foods to celebrate, please contact Brodie to get more info.
Women's Fellowship is meeting at an all-you-can eat hot pot restaurant in Bellevue/Redmond on Saturday night, January 25, at 5 pm. If you want to join, please contact Penny by Tuesday, January 21 for more info and to be added to the reservation.
In the annual congregational meeting on Sunday, January 19th, church members ratified the 2025 budget and fund reallocation proposals by a vote of 83 yes, 0 no, and 0 abstain.
If you have not submitted an individual or family photo for the church directory, but want to, the deadline is the end of January. Please send your photo, names, email addresses, home address, and phone number to Fanny by January 31. The directory goes to print shortly after. Please note that the directory is only shared with the church congregation.
Easter is approaching on April 20. For those of you interested in getting baptized, please let Brodie know by the first week of February. Baptismal class is for 6 weeks starting in late-February or early-March.
The English congregation is responsible for serving lunch on the 2nd Sunday of February. Volunteers are needed to pick-up food, set up tables, serve lunch, and clean-up. If you are interested in serving, please let Sir Sain know.
Parking on the street: As a courtesy to our neighbors, please avoid parking in front of their mailboxes. Some deliveries are made on Sundays and we don't want to block access to mailboxes or walkways.

Men's, Women's, and Combined small groups + fellowships are in full swing. If you have interest in learning more about the schedule, please contact Sir Sain or Penny L or Brodie. Here's the schedule:
1st weekend: Young family fellowships.
2nd and 4th Friday nights: English-wide Small Group. Open to all adults (College and up). We will have a childcare rotation if you bring your kids. Please respond to this survey if you are interested.
3rd week (mid-week): Men and Women fellowships meet separately.
Connections snack and fellowship on Sundays after English Worship.

Current Opportunities to Serve:
If you are interested in playing an instrument in the sanctuary during the postlude (the time after announcements as we transition to Connections time), please contact Andrew.
If you are interested in being a supporting singer to the worship leader, please contact Andrew.
We are in need of volunteers to teach/help with Children's Worship and Sunday School. If you are interested in serving in this area, please contact Corina, Stephanie, or Amy.
If you are interested in serving in the Audio/Visual team, please contact Andrew or Jeff. Training will be provided, so no experience required.

Standing Announcements for Sunday Worship:
The following Sunday ministries are active:
English Worship Service at 9:30 am.
Children's Worship (2 years old through fifth grade) starts in the sanctuary for worship singing with the adults at 9:30am and then move downstairs from 9:45-10:30am for children's activities.
Adult Sunday School class will meet in the Church Office from 11-12:30pm.
Youth (middle and high school) Sunday School class will meet in the Fellowship Hall from 11-12:30pm.
Children's Sunday School classes (2 years old through fifth grade) will meet in the classrooms downstairs from 11-12:30pm.
Current church guidance is: if ANY member of your family is ill, please keep your entire family at home. If you have had direct exposure to a COVID positive case, please come back after testing negative or being asymptomatic.
