Joint Outdoor Worship Service in the church parking lot on June 22!
Outdoor service starts at 10:30 am
We have a joint worship service with the Chinese congregation and will be meeting in the church parking lot. If you want to park your car in the grassy field area, you will need arrive before 10:15 am. At 10:15 am sharp, we will close entry to the parking lot and you will need to park on the street after that (Note: Try to avoid blocking driveways and mailboxes). We start the service at 10:30 am and end at 12 noon. Dress appropriately and please bring your own chair for the service. Bringing your own canopies are welcome for those that want shade.
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is coming!
VBS serving updates and opportunities:
High Schoolers, College, or Adult volunteers can contact Apple or Amy if you are interested in serving at VBS.
Volunteer meeting on June 8 after church lunch. Meeting starts at 1 pm on June 8 in the main sanctuary.
Please pray for VBS. For those that want to contribute financially (optional), you can note "VBS support" in your offering memo.

Lighter Snacks Connections Time in July and August. Many ministries take breaks in the summer. Our Connections Time will move to simpler and lighter snacks, and have 1 volunteer instead of the typical 2 volunteers. Here is the voluntary sign-up Google sheet.
Children's Worship and Elementary Sunday School needs helpers. Our class sizes are growing, so our teachers need assistants to help hand out materials and help with kids going to the restroom. No experience required, but we will require a background check. Contact Amy if you can assist.
The English Ministry Bible Study group is studying the New Testament book of Mark. The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Fridays, with the next one on June 13 in Renton (Sir Sain and Penny's home). Doors open at 6:30 pm. Reach out to Sir Sain or Penny if you need the address.
If you are parents where at least one of your children is 5 years old or younger, and you want to join a Young Families Small Group that meets once a month, please contact Brodie.
Donations for Children’s Rooms: We are taking donations for the RSDA cry room + kid’s rooms and Ministry Center kid’s room. We are seeking toys, books, and furniture in new or good working condition. Take pictures of the items and send them to Mike for review. If purchasing new, please have item approved before buying to prevent duplicates or insufficient space.
Parking on the street for the church and ministry center: As a courtesy to our neighbors, please avoid parking in front of their mailboxes. Some deliveries are made on the weekends and we don't want to block access to mailboxes or walkways.
Current Ways to Connect:
Men's, Women's, and Combined small groups + fellowships are in full swing. If you have interest in learning more about the schedule, please contact Sir Sain or Penny L or Brodie. Here's the schedule:
1st weekend: Young family fellowships.
2nd and 4th Friday nights: English Bible Study. Open to all adults (College and up). We will have a childcare rotation if you bring your kids. If you are interested in joining a Bible Study group, reach out to Mike.
3rd week (mid-week): Men and Women fellowships meet separately.

We are in need of volunteers to teach/help with Children's Worship and Sunday School. If you are interested in serving in this area, please contact Corina, Stephanie, or Amy.
If you are interested in serving in the Audio/Visual team, please contact Andrew or Jeff. Training will be provided, so no experience required.

Standing Announcements for Sunday Worship:
The following Sunday ministries are active:
English Worship Service at 9:30 am.
Children's Worship (2 years old through fifth grade) starts in the sanctuary for worship singing with the adults at 9:30am and then move downstairs from 9:45-10:30am for children's activities.
Adult Sunday School class will meet in the Church Office from 11-12:30pm.
Youth (middle and high school) Sunday School class will meet in the Fellowship Hall from 11-12:30pm.
Children's Sunday School classes (2 years old through fifth grade) will meet in the classrooms downstairs from 11-12:30pm.
Current church guidance is: if ANY member of your family is ill, please keep your entire family at home. If you have had direct exposure to a COVID positive case, please come back after testing negative or being asymptomatic.
