Announcements for the Month:
Elementary and pre-school children will have the opportunity to present a short Christmas musical. The plan is to perform the musical at our joint Christmas service on December 22nd (with a 2nd potential performance on Dec 24). There will be 3 songs and some speaking roles. Below is a list of our anticipated practices to be held in one of the downstairs classrooms. If your children are interested and available to be a part of the Christmas musical, please let Amy know ideally on November 17 and start joining the practices below.

Upcoming English-wide gatherings:
Sunday, November 24th at 4 pm: Thanksgiving potluck. Location in Renton.
Friday, December 13th at 6 pm: Christmas party with white elephant gift exchange. Location in Renton.
Church-wide directory refresh: If you want to be included in the printed church directory, the English Ministry will have an opportunity to review your contact information and take a photo to be included in the updated directory. Look for the photography set-up on November 17th after second service at 12:30 pm.
The Renton Police Department is collecting "NEW" winter coats for preschool through high school age youth. If you have any "NEW" jackets you want to donate, please bring them in by November 24th at 11 am and give them to the ushers at the welcome table. Please do not bring "USED" jackets even if they are in good condition. We will have the Renton Police pick them up around noon.
Parking on the street: As a courtesy to our neighbors, please avoid parking in front of their mailboxes. Some deliveries are made on Sundays and we don't want to block access to mailboxes or walkways.
Current Ways to Connect:
Men's, Women's, and Combined small groups + fellowships are in full swing. If you have interest in learning more about the schedule, please contact Sir Sain or Penny L or Brodie. Here's the schedule:
1st weekend: Young family fellowships.
2nd and 4th Friday nights: English-wide Small Group. Open to all adults (College and up). We will have a child care rotation if you bring your kids. Please respond to this survey if you are interested.
3rd week (mid-week): Men and Women fellowships meet separately.
Connections snack and fellowship on Sundays after English Worship.
Church-lunch on second Sundays of each month.
Current Opportunities to Serve:
If you are interested in playing an instrument in the sanctuary during the postlude (the time after announcements as we transition to Connections time), please contact Andrew.
If you are interested in being a supporting singer to the worship leader, please contact Andrew.
We are in need of volunteers to teach/help with Children's Worship and Sunday School. If you are interested in serving in this area, please contact Corina, Stephanie, or Amy.
If you are interested in serving in the Audio/Visual team, please contact Andrew or Jeff. Training will be provided, so no experience required.

Standing Announcements for Sunday Worship:
The following Sunday ministries are active:
English Worship Service at 9:30 am.
Children's Worship (2 years old through fifth grade) starts in the sanctuary for worship singing with the adults at 9:30am and then move downstairs from 9:45-10:30am for children's activities.
Adult Sunday School class will meet in the Church Office from 11-12:30pm.
The baptism and basics of the Christian faith series of 6 classes started on October 20. Classes begin at 11:05 am sharp in the classroom behind the sanctuary organ.
Youth (middle and high school) Sunday School class will meet in the Fellowship Hall from 11-12:30pm.
Children's Sunday School classes (2 years old through fifth grade) will meet in the classrooms downstairs from 11-12:30pm.
Current church guidance is: if ANY member of your family is ill, please keep your entire family at home. If you have had direct exposure to a COVID positive case, please come back after testing negative or being asymptomatic.
